Food & Beverage

Food has a profound way of evoking nostalgia and reminding us of home. Latine cuisine is one of the most celebrated cuisines in the world. Food has always been central to Justice for Migrant Women’s mission given that it was founded with a focus on women working in agriculture and across the food supply chain. It was a natural fit to make food a central focus of Raizado Festival.

This Festival honors how chefs and mixologists are keepers of cultural traditions through food and beverage.

A powerhouse team of diverse chefs are returning to the festival, headed by humanitarian, TV personality, and award-winning Chef Grace Ramirez. Leading her team is Justice for Migrant Women Senior Culinary Advisor Chef Melissa Tung, alongside Chef Kristen Little Espinal, and Chef Osvin Velasquez. The culinary team will prepare authentic recipes representing the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and South America.
